The Lymphoma Coalition is a global network of worldwide not for profit lymphoma patient organizations with a vision to free the world of lymphomas. The coalition is made up of over 90 member organizations from 55 countries.
The Lymphoma Coalitions' mission is: to raise awareness of lymphomas; to improve the understanding of lymphomas; to ensure best practice management of lymphomas; and to encourage the creation of new lymphoma patient groups in countries where one does not presently exist.
The Cutaneous Lymphoma Foundation joined the Lymphoma Coalition as a Full Member in 2004. The Full Member status is granted to organizations that share the Lymphoma Coalition's goals. As a Full Member organization, we take an active role in planning, events and information exchange with other Coalition members.
Goals of the Lymphoma Coalition
- To raise worldwide awareness of lymphoma with the general public, patients, their families and caregivers, patient support groups, physicians and other healthcare professionals involved in the treatment of lymphoma
- To build partnerships among members of the Lymphoma Coalition in order to share experience and expertise in lymphoma
- To encourage the setting up of new lymphoma patient groups around the world, especially in countries where groups are not already in existence
