Madeleine Curry

Director

Board member since 2025

In the lonely uncertainty of my cancer diagnosis, the Cutaneous Lymphoma Foundation didn't just offer information, guidance, and resources—it welcomed me to a community.

Madeleine (Maddy) Curry is a program manager in the non-profit sector, an editor, a mother, and a patient with mycosis fungoides. Diagnosed as a young adult, Madeleine was directed to the CL Foundation for its wealth of resources; however, it was its opportunities for connection with other patients that most comforted and strengthened her. Having lived with MF for several years, Madeleine hopes to now bring her professional and personal experiences to support and amplify the work of the Foundation.

Informed by her educational background in the arts and in adult education, Madeleine first pursued a career in the arts and culture sector, where she worked in publishing, ran several reading series, and co-founded a non-profit literary organization. This work launched her into the non-profit sector: since then, Madeleine’s professional experience of program management spans immigration and settlement, information and referral, youth mental health, peer support, volunteer engagement, and event management. Her work has often focused on specific needs, services and programs for youth and young adults; with this in mind, she hopes to help expand the Foundation’s support and resources for young adults and their unique concerns when navigating cutaneous T-cell lymphoma.

Madeleine is honoured to join the CLF Board of Directors, and to have the opportunity to work alongside such an engaged community of patients, caregivers, and health care experts.
