David Elefant

Vice President

Board member since 2019

"I am tremendously honored to serve on the board of the Cutaneous Lymphoma Foundation, and to give back to an organization that has given me so much."

David has lived with cutaneous T-cell lymphoma for 40+ years, having been first diagnosed in the mid 1980’s, after many years of misdiagnosis. At that time, the resources available to patients were extremely limited. Shortly after the Cutaneous Lymphoma Foundation was established, David began taking advantage of the resources it offered through its patient educational meetings, and access to accurate medical and research information. David enjoys speaking to newly diagnosed patients, especially younger patients, telling his story of living successfully with cutaneous T-cell lymphoma.

David is an estate planning attorney in California. In addition to his law practice, he is a contributing author to a variety of legal publications and has taught for many years at local colleges, including serving as a visiting professor of law in 2008 at the University of Debrecen, Hungary.

As a board member, David wants to focus his efforts on fundraising for the Cutaneous Lymphoma Foundation, so it can continue and improve the services it offers cutaneous T-cell lymphoma patients and their families.
