OBJECTIVE: Compare the complete response rates and overall survival in older patients with diffuse large B-cell or peripheral T-cell non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma treated with CHOP with vs without etoposide.

ELEGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Diagnosis of diffuse large B-cell or peripheral T-cell non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Age 70 and over. No history of concurrent severe disease or other concurrent use of antineoplastic agents.
